Feng Shui 03:07
“Out of sight out of mind,” they say, But you’re out of place in my mind. Holding tight to threads that fray, But I’m not here to stay. It’s starts to feel like years at a time, And I haven’t touched a thing. I left it all there like the scene of the crime, And just like poison, it stings. Everything in it’s right place, But I’m not here to stay, Everything’s in it’s right place, I hope you’ll pray for me today. I’ll carve your Mona Lisa, They’ll call me Leonardo, They get their facts wrong, sweetheart. And I get tired of running scared. I’m a son of a gun, But where did the gun come from? Moving mountains just to fall on the sword. And steal the air from my lungs. And then she calls me over, Pull me down, so I see much closer Make my day, With every word that I’ve been trying to say, Out of place in my mind. Everything in it’s right place, But I’m not here to stay, Everything’s in it’s right place, Don’t cry for me on my deathbed.

Sweetheart, come inside, we are home again. I’m not lost yet, But I’m on my way there. I should have picked up my tail, But now I’ve lost the will to care. Sweetheart come inside, We are home again. Sweetheart come inside, We are home again. I’ve lost my sword, I swallowed it whole. I’ll get my shield, I will protect you when it’s over. Sweetheart come inside, We are home again. Sweetheart come inside, We are home… Hands are tied up, And I’ve almost given in. I’m losing touch, and I’m – Fine with it. Sweetheart come inside, We are home again. Sweetheart come inside, It’s time we run again. I’ve lost my sword, I swallowed it whole. I’ll get my shield, but I’ll still protect you when it’s over. But I’ll – still protect you when it’s over.

Cascade 03:43
Devotion rises, And tiptoes on the edge of your glass. As if I could look away, When you make angels look like painting frames. I’m wrapped in golden foil, Like tying years inside the ring to make it last. Cool and freeze and stay, And let me pour the champagne. Cascade out of the bottle, Hide inside the glasses beside me. Cascade out of the bottle, Diving for the ring in a champagne sea. Oh, trickle down the sides, Like the peach juice down my arm. I’m pouring out the bottle in two. I couldn’t tell you when it’s full, I’m only looking right through it at you. Cascade out of the bottle, Hide inside the glasses beside me. Cascade out of the bottle, Diving for the ring in a champagne sea. Cascade out. You’re never going to take me alive. Because I hold myself inside of… Cascade out of the bottle, Hide inside the glasses beside me. Cascade out of the bottle, Diving for the ring in a champagne sea. Cascade out.

Sonder 04:21
Have you pulled the rabbit out? Have you sawed your woman in half? They must have missed it when you swallowed the key, They love to live their lives in uncertainty. Oh no you don’t, you won’t put one over on me. Oh no you don’t, you won’t put one over on me. I don’t think so, you won’t put one over on me, All that you’ve got, you tucked up your sleeve. I’m not afraid to die, I wrote in my soup with the alphabet last night. Oh no you don’t, you won’t put one over on me. Oh no you don’t, you won’t put one over on me. I am smiling from cheek to cheek; I’m better off now than Mr. Houdini. {([Interlude])} Please shed your eager tears right here, Safe space darling, for all to hear. We live in our own worlds, And I can’t afford to get lost in yours. Oh no you don’t, you won’t put one over on me. Oh no you don’t, you won’t put one over on me. I’m smiling with you from cheek to cheek; But I’m better off now than Mr. Houdini. …Oh you know better… Oh no you don’t, you won’t put one over on me. Oh no you don’t, you won’t put one over on me. I’m smiling with you from cheek to cheek; But I’m in the crowd not in your head, and that’s where I’ll always be.

Goldilocks 04:04
You’ve lost you mind, It’s about time. You’re out of you mind, I’m glad you’re on my side. And now we come alive. “Oh yeah? You don’t say.” You’ve lost your mind. You speak in tongues all your own. “You’re far outside the world I know and love, And that just might be enough.” And I crash and burn for you and I, To say we tried, we try we fail, we fall from outer space. But my slippers are stone, And my hands are tied, And my skin is so cold, Goldilocks says it’s just right. Oh yeah, You don’t say. Oh yeah, You don’t say. Oh yeah, You don’t say. This life’s so wrong. And we crash and burn. Look in my eyes, Watch the tightrope serpent rise. Look in my eyes, …You’re running out of time. And this life’s so wrong, And we crash and burn. This life’s insane, yeah. And I’m glad you’re on my side. What do we wait for? We couldn’t take more. We’re living our lives so wrong. We’re sinking too fast down, Your lungs turn to glass now, And I’m glad you’re on my side. And I’m glad you’re on my side. I’m glad you’re on my side. I’m glad you’re on my side.

“Wait for me there,” she said, “wait by the staircase.” “Wait for me there,” she said, “wait by the staircase.” Holding your breath for as long as it takes, Til your eyes start to swim in your head. I’ll be waiting laughing there, While you’re dancing on your deathbed. Do I seem unsure, when I say you’re Responsible for the ripples, That rock the boats on easy streams and tip Titanics just for kicks? Oh, crying your eyes over your flea circus love song, She’ll reel you in and caste you out because you were bait all along. Holding your breath, For as long as it takes. I’ll throw them out of there, If their fingers’ in the cake. But oh, who are they, To come in here and make such claims, And never ask if you’re ok. Do I seem unsure, when I say you’re Responsible for the ripples, That rock the boats on easy streams and tip Titanics just for kicks? Oh, crying your eyes over your flea circus love song, She’ll reel you in and caste you out because you were bait all along. You’re holding on to me. What kind of ruthless animal, let loose out her cage tonight? I can’t seem to find my way outside this maze alive. One thing I know for sure, I’d lock the door and trap you inside, I’ve got to see you every night. Do I seem unsure, when I say you’re Responsible for the ripples, That rock the boats on easy streams and tip titanics just for kicks? Oh, crying your eyes over your flea circus love song, She’ll reel you in and caste you out because you were bait all along. All along. Holding your breath for as long as it takes, “Wait for me there…”

I like the way Audrey Hepburn smiles at me. It makes me feel just like a wild animal that can’t climb up into his tree. Why do we put ourselves through this life? Why do we wait so long? Why do we put ourselves through this life, Just to come home alone? I like the way Marilyn Monroe seems to know everything little thing about me. I don’t have no missile controls, but she doesn’t care, she doesn’t care… My, my, you walk so tall, that saber-toothed tiger never stood a chance. Well you say you’ll strike him down and carve him into a leather jacket, And a pair of pants, with you bare hands, yeah. Why do we put ourselves through this life? Why do we wait so long? Why do we put ourselves through your lies, Just to go home alone. You might say I’m enlightened, now, You might say I’m enlightened, now. I pay my simple respects to Mr. Rising, But lonely tears are not better. Sometimes I forget how it tastes inside of my mouth. And the sound of my own name feels just about as strange as shattered glass. Strangers can be dangerous, I know that for a fact, I heard it in my last life. Who could have put an end to me, It might have been the same man who gave that advice. Why do we put ourselves through this life? Why does it take so long? You think I can’t see the gleam of your knife, Just to go home alone. You might say I’m enlightened. You might say I’m enlightened. I pay my simple respects to Mr. Rising. But lonely tears are not better. Lonely tears are not better. Lonely tears are not-- Lonely tears are not better.

Oddie & I 02:57
He said, “I’m gonna call, by that time you better make your mind up,” “Grab everything you can, but don’t steal their lives yet.” He said, “I’m gonna call, by that time you keep the car running, He’ll say you’re living lies, without bullets at your head. I’ve tried a million times. Oh, oddie, why? Standing there, with a smile. Oddie and I were playing outside, Since kids, we’ve been lying through our teeth. But when we turned nine, I had made my mind, Counting down the days, ‘til I would OD and die. Oh, oddie, why? Standing there, with a smile. Biding your time, while the land mines unwind. Oh, oddie…

Olympus Mons 05:55
It’s what they’ve said for days. It’s what they’ll say for years to come. “What would life be like on Mars?” Another world to burn, only further from the sun. And who are we to say different? And who are we to stay the same? But somehow I know everything does change, thing does change, yeah, And mountains that size will take their toll, and there they go. Transmission lost in outer space. I will come back. You were named after a mountain on Earth, But that doesn’t mean you can’t be more, more, more And all that suffering tires my heart out in time. And I can see the peak and it’s clearer than before. We’ve all spent our time in exile. We’ve all spent our time in exile. Lie and say you’re not terrified, Scared to death to open your eyes, One small breath for man, but-- C’est la vie, one giant sigh for all of mankind. It’s what they’ve said for days. It’s what they’ll say for years to come: “What would life be like on Mars?” And never stop to think, Another world to burn, further from the sun. We’ve all spent our time in exile. We’ve all spent our time in exile. Please spend all your time with me, We’ll catch our breath between the other stars and ours. Lie and say you’re not terrified, Scared to death to open your eyes, One small breath for man, but-- C’est la vie, one giant sigh for all of mankind.

This is the story, this is where it starts, Where lives converge, and then they fall apart. Nothing more, than a half-hearted smile, For the religious sinner. Come back to Earth, And I will join you. And when you want to leave again, I’d gladly follow that way too. You look so surprised, It caught me a little off guard. Let me try to start again, Oh, this time it’ll come from the heart. Come back to Earth, And I will join you. And when you want to leave again, I’d gladly follow that way too. This fear is the most fun I’ve had in my entire life, I wouldn’t trade it for one last breath in the world. And let me share this with you, with all it’s darkness and it’s scars, And this time it will come from the heart. Come back to Earth, And I will join you. Running to the covers of your burning bed, And I am there to tuck you in.

But I Sink 04:26
I had the worst dream about you and I today, We were together, but we’re not the same. We used to laugh as we looked each other in the eyes, All we know we don’t, need nothing else. …They’ll tell you everything you want to hear. Just two kids caught inside of a storm in the world, Hold me tight like I know those eyes can. And all I want is walking over water to see your outstretched hand, But I sink. Now I breathe with the world and it’s still not enough, Hold me tighter than you ever will again. All the Gods in their theatre watching, they don’t care, They don’t care. Holy water hold me up before I lose my will to stand, But I sink, Yes I sink. I’ve come to terms, I’ve made my bed. But I will lie upon this shore until the bottle finds its way to me, Unless it sinks, ‘cause, I’ve got to know you’re alright. It’s all I ask for, but it’s more than I deserve. Outro I will sink so you can stay up, you’re better off without me, too. I will sink so you can stay up, you’re better off without me, too. I will sink so you can stay up, you’re better off without me, too. I will sink so you can stay up, you’re better off without me, too. You’re alright, I will sink so you can stay up, you’re better off without me, too. You’re alright, I am sinking, but I’ll be alright, the last thing I ever saw was you, And I’m alright. …Tear this page out for yourself…

Welcome to your life, Where you get to fly at night. “Tiptoe on your little breeze, And fly as high now, so when you’re shot down, It still feels like a dream.” So what do you say, will you come on? So what do you say, will you come on? Welcome to your life, Come on down before you hurt yourself, “Keep your feet glued to the ground, And maybe one day, you’ll have enough saved,” They’re going to pay me to dream. So what do you say, will you come on? So what do you say, will you come on? So what do you say, will you come on? Dream a little bigger, darling. Because I’m not trying, To separate you from what you’ve made, While you hold me up. But I’ve got to leave the pride, And all I know, I’ll be fine, Dream a little… I know you’ve got the heart of a lion, But I also see he’s crying, And while that little heart keeps beating, beating, beating, It skips one or two every time it sees you, Am I still alive? So what do you say, will you come on? So what do you say, will you come on? So what do you say, will you come on? Dream a little bigger, darling. Because I’m not trying to, No I’m not trying to separate. But I’ve got to leave the pride, And I know, I’ll be fine, Because I spread my wings so wide, Toward a closer light, I will be what I set out to be. And I know you will be there with me. And we wait for time in time. So what do you say, would you come on? So what do you say, would you come on? So what do you say, would you come on? Dream a little bigger, darling. Dream a little bigger, Dream a little bigger, darling. And I will be there…
